Japanese ice cream vending

As summer approaches in Japan the temperature can get up to a tasty 38C. The Japanese have found a solution to this problem. While not world famous for its ice cream. (Japan lacking a good supply of dairy) it makes up for it in typical fashion with the style and range of flavours on offer.

The machine above is located in Tokyo's Meiji Jingumae subway station. While JENDI does not have any of these in stock at the moment we hope to in the near future. For updates check on our site. www.jendi.co.uk     Supermarkets also have an enormous range to choose from.   Some of the best known brands are created by Meiji. One of the most popular flavours is the Matcha or green tea. Seen above.     One flavour that took a while for me to get used to however is the azuki bean. Not sweet, best way to describe it would be like a soft kidney bean. For more info on Japanese products check out of Japanese vending machines and products at www.jendi.co.uk
